Answers to the most common questions we hear — about KHT, fitting, warranty, and authenticity.
KHT is Dumina's proprietary internal shaft construction. It redistributes mass inside the shaft so we can build dramatically lighter shafts (20–30 grams less) without losing stability. The result is higher launch, lower spin, and a tempo-driven release profile.
Autoflex uses full-length KHT — it's our flagship, with the most dramatic weight reduction and unique feel. Autopower uses KHT strategically, preserving a more conventional "substantial" feel for players transitioning from traditional shafts.
Match to swing speed: SF305X (65–85 mph), SF405 (85–95), SF505 (95–105), SF505X (110–125). A fitting is strongly recommended — tempo matters as much as speed with KHT.
Yes. Because KHT responds to tempo, not just swing speed, the same club-head and loft can perform very differently with different flexes. Our dealer page lists authorized fitters who carry the full lineup.
Yes. Dumina Co., Ltd. is the manufacturer. Autoflex is one of our shaft brands — the flagship line. autoflex.us is our authorized US retail partner.
Only buy from authorized dealers listed on our dealer page. Every genuine Dumina shaft has unique serial identification and consistent ±2 CPM tolerance; counterfeits rarely match our published CPM specs. When in doubt, send a photo of the shaft band and serial to support — we will verify.
Dumina shafts are covered against manufacturing defects for 12 months from date of purchase from an authorized dealer. Warranty claims are handled through your dealer.
Yes. Use a standard grip and grip solvent; do not use heat. Our carbon finish is durable but we recommend a qualified clubmaker for regripping and for any adapter work.
It depends on the dealer. autoflex.us and Fairway Jockey typically ship custom-built with adapter and grip. Retail dealers offer both pre-built and shaft-only options.
Yes. Autoflex now offers two iron shaft models: the autoFlex Original Iron ($210) and the autoFlex Dream 7 Iron ($230). Both use KHT construction with a 0.370" tip and 39" uncut length, available in SF305 through SF505X depending on the model. See full specs →
